yep, I finally caved and am all caught up with Homestuck. If you don’t know anything about it, it’s this webcomic/webserial thing that uses a variety of different formats but mostly image + some text to tell an epic save-the-world type story revolving around four 13 year old kids. There’s way more to it than that, of course, but my summarizing skills are not so great XD The style is one that likes to poke fun at things, including itself, and it’s quite funny XD

and here begins the no-power saga. I lost it around 6pm this night, right as I was preparing the ingredients to make muffins… so, naturally, I played Project Diva. and totally perfect cleared two songs on Hard without even trying. (the other one was Yellow) +1 for my concentration skills?

we got a ridiculous amount of heavy wet snow, and the trees still looked like this, which is why tons of branches everywhere came down… and killed my power lines.

this tree in particular was quite… fun. it was leaning on the lines, and was so low UPS and the garbage truck couldn’t come down our street. creepy to drive under…
