I’m still moving entries from the old format to wordpress.

I’m doing this by hand.

Why?

Well, for one, it’s not a quick-snap import process because habari’s not even 1.0 yet so of course wordpress won’t support importing from such a new format.

For another… I’m doing a lot of meta-tweaking (tags, categories, editing old entries with updated info) that I think, in the long run, will be better for the blog. It also lets me see that I have a disproportional amount of random “personal” type entries which is maybe boring for casual readers who don’t know me (^ ^;;; )

I’ve gotten through all of 2009 now, back to post #74. There may or may not be 74 posts left to transfer since if I delete posts the id numbers don’t change. Certainly by Monday all the archives should be back online.
